About Me
Roger was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Since his father was in teh U.S. Navy for 21 years, adapting to living in a number of places was part of growing up for he and his sister, Linda and their mother.
Roger obtained a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University. This accomplishment was followed by three years of internship and surgical residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Susequently, he was hired by the University of Georgia to teach Small Animal Veterinary Surgery.
Roger has been a resident of the Athens, Georgia area since 1972 and entered the field of professional real estate by obtaining his license in the fall of 2003. He and his wife, Susan, reside on their woodland acreage with their two European bred Dobermans, Jack and Gina. Susan works for Bond Nationwide Insurance specializing in home and auto insurance. Although their careers are a source of great satisfaction and occupy much of their time, their livesalso revolve around serving at their church, children, grandchildren and dog trials.
